The library is open Monday-Friday from 7:15am-2:45pm.
About our librarian
This is my fourth year at Carson Middle School and my 13th in education. My husband and I have two fun daughters, Ally (8) and Taylor (6). Our family can often be found outside hiking, camping and swimming. Before coming to CMS, I have taught maths, French, Spanish and computers. I firmly believe the library is the center of the school in which knowledge and understanding is constructed from not just books, but from each other and asking questions - when you visit the library, you will rarely find me "shhhing" students. I am available to collaborate on projects and lessons, find resources, research, find the perfect book, and lend a hand or two to fix the random tech issues which arise when we least want them to.
I hold a Bachelor's in Translation from a university in Switzerland where I was born and raised and a Master's in Education from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. I look forward to getting to know and work with our wonderful students.
